Motorola Droid Smart Phone
Motorola has released Droid smart phone for Verizon on 6th November 2009.This is the first GSM Android Model from Motorola. Android is the operating system on which Droid works. Droid is made of metal and plastic. It has soft touch rubber feel. Droid is one of the thinnest phones. It has good display with sharp colors. It has high resolution of 480×854 on 3.7 inch touch screen. Droid has 6 hours of talk time and 11 days of standby battery. It has good interface. It uses Google search and if we hold the search button then it uses Google’s voice search. Face book application has been preloaded in Droid.
Motorola Droid allows us to setup email and contact synchronization. It allows us to integrate all inboxes from multiple email accounts. Droid has texting, messaging, web surfing, etc. It has camera of 5 Megapixels with auto focus and video recording. It has superior sound system, which allows us to record video and music clearly. Droid has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless data connectivity. If we are using Droid with high speed internet connection, we can feel that we are using laptops. With all the advanced features let us see whether Motorola Droid will replace iPhones and other smart phones.
